Travelodge Limerick Castletroy, Limerick

I stayed on the third and last floor of the hotel. The room was very spacious with a full-width window facing the countryside. It had a strong smell of cigarettes and wasn't ready or clean for our check-in at 2:30 pm. Additionally, it smelled like a urinal. On the positive side, we had booked well in advance for three adults.

The hotel was ideally situated near Limerick University with convenient parking spaces and nearby amenities. The rooms were bright and airy but could have been cleaner in some areas. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with recommendations for local attractions like the Cliffs of Moher. Unfortunately, the dining experience was underwhelming with tasteless food and intrusive music from the in-house restaurant.

The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were not fresh, hot in the summer, and filled with bottles from previous guests, but the service was friendly and helpful. The location was great for local travel but noisy at night. The dining options were convenient, and the facilities were adequate.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect for a restful break during a hectic trip. The rooms were bright, spotless, and wonderfully quiet at night, making it ideal for a peaceful stay. However, the location lacked a nice view. The service was exceptional, with friendly and welcoming staff. The dining experience, unfortunately, had a late breakfast start time. Overall, it was a great value for a relaxing stay.

The facilities were satisfactory, with a notable challenge in reaching the hotel and lack of clear labeling.
